Shoe malfunction - new loafer mules

I started the day wearing cute white sandals but one of the straps broke about an hour into my work day. Luckily I had no meetings scheduled that morning. I made a quick trip to Target to look for a cheap replacement pair of sandals. Surprisingly I couldn't find any light colored sandals, everything was black or brown. However, I found these white loafer mules which are fun and different. I still need to find white sandals but I'm excited about these mules and even wore them again today with a casual jeans outfit.

You lucked out with the mules. They look great with the dress! That’s too bad about your sandals. What brand were they? I love the bird top, too.

JAileen - I can't remember the brand right now but they were a real brand, not just a cheap pair from Target or Payless. I just bought them last summer so they were fairly new.

I quite like the loafers with the dress! Bummer about the sandals though. And that print on your Friday outfit top is great (I'm a sucker for bird prints!).

That's so annoying about the sandals. I had some Taryn Rose sandal$ and the strap pulled out after one season. I had them repaired, which was worth it because they were comfortable, and then later that season another one pulled out.
The mules look good. I've had decent experiences with shoes from Target, you'll probably get tired of them before they fall apart!

You got some good mules that work further than just saving the day.
How annoying about the shoe strap falling apart. If you have the time and the inclination it would be worthwhile to complain to the manufacturer, especially if they were pricey and are relatively new.
