This is what I call that rush of adrenaline when you score the perfect item. Whenever I go out with a friend and they see something they *love,* buy it, then spend the next half an hour or more talking about (justifying it, explaining their intense love for it) it, I know it's the purchase euphoria talking...

So what's your latest thrill?

Mine's not clothing but skincare related. I have greasy but sensitive skin and my beautician has just started selling a skincare line which is the most perfect thing ever for me, my pores have shrunk, the grease slick that was my T zone is no more and the redness has disappeared. Each item I try is a holy grail one x

I'm loving the knee high boots I found for skirts. But I'm REALLY loving these that just became mine and are SO comfy. I got them for 20% off, so that made it even better.

Environ, I believe they are south African but sell all over the world http://www.environ.co.za/ but you have to get it through a salon because you need a consultation It's not the cheapest at £13 for facewash, £45 for eye cream (though it has faded my undereye bags, for that alone it's worth it) and £16 for lip balm! but I'm a convert and i figure it will save me a fortune on stuff I buy and then can't use because it irritates my skin x

Please don't let the markdown take the fun out of your 3.1 Phillip Lim dress! It is a great dress that looks AMAZING on you, one of my favorite posts on the blog! In the long run, a markdown won't make that much difference for a dress that IS you!

I've worn it twice already! It was one of those things I spotted in the store, very nearly ran toward, saw there was only one, and held my breath to see if it was my size.

The other one would be those black lace-up Frye boots. I ordered them online and was so excited when they arrived. I am so loving them!

I found a Tahari sheath dress at a big discount--and the kicker is it fits PERFECTLY and the colors are divine. I'm so excited. I can't find a picture of the dress online, but I think it's made from the same fabric as this top:

These aren't very exciting, but I bought these flat black riding boots during the NAS, and I'm so pleased with them (just starting to wear them now, and in the past few weeks) - they are incredibly comfortable and I'm very glad I bought them.

Most comfy boots ever, and really fill a need in my wardrobe lately. I have fancy dress boots (with a heel), I have booties, pumps and the like - but a pair of classic black flat riding boots that are oh-so-comfortable? Priceless.

VC - those boots look classic and comfy. I have a pair of Aquatalia boots from a few seasons back that i feel the same way about. I love that I can feel comfy and polished in them, even when the weather is nasty!

I am simple. I am really excited about the tights (and legwarmers) I bought. Legwarmers, where have you been all my life? So much better than long socks under boots.

BJ--I am curious about trying that spackle! My forehead has had way too much sun in its life.

I just got an Improvd leather jacket- need to post it- at Half Yearly. It's leather with skinny zip off knit arms- it's very RATE for me, which I finding thrilling- my clothes tend to be a bit boring...then I wanted skinny black jeans, so I tried on pretty much everything at Nordstrom- finally I went to GAP and found 'em, on sale! Woohoo! Totally feel euphoric about these!

So excited about my two new leather jackets, one in cognac and one in black. I got the cognac Lafayette 148 one from Nordstrom Rack--they were sold out of my size online so I called around until I found one in the right size and had them ship it to me...I was so excited about it I tore off the tags and wore it the next day! The black Tahari one was on sale at Nordstrom...I saw it in the store and decided I would come back the next day when it was double points day. I am so glad I found it because I can't find it anywhere online so it was sold out. It has suede panel details. I am going to use both of them as "blazers" at work with skirts and blouses so I can have a "suit" without wearing an actual suit.
