Semi Angie-inspired: pearls and refined shoes.

Our weather has taken a sudden turn for the worse. It’s raining really hard. I have been wanting to wear my new sneakerinas but they’re suede and so even though I treated them with spray I don’t want to wear them in the rain. Hence I took my Skechers in the car as well.
I saw an NZ made mesh top in the mall yesterday on sale, that I thought would be good with the sneakerinas, so I wore them to try it on. As I was dressing I thought of my pearls and a cardigan that might be good too. Only semi Angie-inspired as black is involved which Angie no longer wears.

Pics 5-6 trying a different cardigan both unbuttoned and then buttoned, it’s from one of my daughter’s clothes swaps so it was free, I find it a bit boring but the colour is good with the new top?

Very Angie inspired and looking great! I love your new sneakerinas, so pretty.

My preference is for the shorter cardigan, I like the bolero shape and brighter colour. The longer cardigan has a more relaxed feel, so also useful and nice with the new top.

Love the new mesh top and outfit 1. I also prefer the bolero shape and I prefer the other cardigan buttoned. The pearls are pretty in an outfit with the sneakerinas. You seem to have invented a new theme here, Ballet-core, you just need some leg warmers and some pale pink, maybe a head band :). I think my early morning imagination is running away with me haha.

Love it Star! I really wanted to do ballet but my parents said they couldn’t afford it. I was allowed to do some class at a church hall when I was about 10 called “Creative Dance”. So as my older daughter adored The Nutcracker when she was 3 I started her with ballet classes when she was 5. They loved their dance, both ballet and jazz. The older girl got to Advanced in both and the younger only in jazz, she stopped the ballet when she couldn’t manage the pointe shoes.
I do like ballet pink as well!
And thank you Bijou. It felt like a very sudden turn to autumn today and like I might be into woollen knitwear soon! I hope not. But there is some flooding in Northland north of here.

I like you very much in outfit # 1 - you look very well in black&cream and pearls! I like also the second outfit with the cardigan buttoned. When I am wearing a buttoned cardi I often button the first button - I don't know why but it looks more elegant to me.
On a side note: I wanted so badly to do ballet, but since I lived in the country and ran and jumped and biked all day my parents didn't see the need for me to do anything else. Still angry now .

I always loved and still love a bl&w outfit! Both are very good
especially love the use of the black mesh top and the sneakers- didn't know these are called sneakerinas? Anyway, I also want a pair of these, love they have the sporty look but it was new for me to find out how butter soft the leather is on the pair I tried,-so completely other feeling than the functional ones- which I love.

the zebra shirt is a pop of fun. I prefer the cardigan open with the zebra, because it lets the zebra shine. #1 column of black with cream sandwich is great, simple but elegant
