Here's my first attempt. The minute I saw this picture, the bright blue sky caught my eye. I thought immediately of my chambray shirt and it was actually cool enough to wear it today. I liked the cool tones throughout the image, so I paired it with my new fall grey jeans. But adding dark shoes felt too much for such a beautiful day, so I went with my burgundy booties instead. This was their first outing and I see many more in the future.
This felt minimal but chic and happiness factor was pretty high. What do you think?
Also, I realized I was off in my previous post about my fear of high-waisted jeans as a petite. These are apparently "high-riser" skinnies and they still end an inch below my navel. I'm therefore dubbing myself Queen High Rise for the season and not worrying about it anymore.
