This mushroom photo was one of my favorites of all the amazing options Diane picked for the challenge. Until yesterday, though, I had NO cream or off-white or white, even, in my wardrobe. Enter this L.L. Bean fisherman's tunic, which I shamelessly copycatted off of avettestingray a few weeks ago (it's really similar to Diane G's sweater too!). When I ordered, the sweater was backordered and I didn't expect to receive it until November, but, lo and behold, it shipped early and arrived yesterday!
I paired the chunky sweater with indigo jeans, a handknit (not by me) alpaca scarf in rust, and cognac booties and bag. Needless to say, I won't be wearing this until the weather cools down, but it was fun to try on!
ETA: I also did a second, even more winter-friendly version with knee-high boots instead of the monk-straps.
