I see a range of body types, sizes, ethnicities and ages. I see armpit stubble, unshaved armpits, stretch marks, belly rolls, round abdomens, possibly an insulin pump or colostomy bag but I'm not sure, skin discolouration, toned bodies, untoned bodies, hourglasses, straight figures, ample busts, small busts, apple shapes, and LOTS OF SMILES and confident poses. I love it.
It's disappointing that I have to draw attention to this type of thing because fashion should just be diverse. Full stop. Alas it is not, but better than it used to be, hence the shout out to AE. It's my hope that all fashion retail is like this eventually - and soon.
Also big shoutout to Halogen for showcasing sixes US0 to US24 on one rail in stores, and Universal Standard being the first retailer to stock sizes 00 to 44 in some of their items.
