You know, I also really loved that most of the women were smiling. Fashion is fun and is so much more approachable when the models look happy. I went to a fashion show at Galleries Lafayette in Paris one time, and the models were smiling. It was fun to see that they looked happy in the clothes.

YES to every word in every comment. It's the best fashion page I've seen all year. You must look on your desk top or lap top though. Phone does not do it justice. Not as diverse.

Janet- Me too . We don’t have the lingerie part of AE here but I think I was in one once in the US somewhere ....super junior and trendy . This selection doesn’t blow me away - I still see very thin and small breasted young women as the majority here . But that’s their demographic anyways so ....

While I do think AE’s demographic skews young, I will say that anecdotally i know many women, including myself, in my age range (late 30’s) who wear their bras. Lots of people I know like their undies as well. I personally am very attached to my cotton hipsters from the Gap, so I haven’t tried Aerie underwear. The selection is MUCH better (and comes in many more sizes) online. I do wish they carried a more inclusive size range in store but I also understand the necessity to deal with limited display space and to cater to the population who actually come into the stores. I think they’re doing a pretty good job given those constraints.

I actually like the more youthful aesthetic when it comes to lingerie anyway. In my size (34dd) and age range most of the stuff that’s “marketed” to me is frankly too built up and supportive. I like things like Demi bras and bralettes, which are generally considered “younger” styles.

It makes me want to buy something from them even though I don't really need anything. That's just beautiful!

Loved seeing women whose bellies are not perfectly flat...and one who has definitely been through child birth. Very refreshing!

i tried this brand a couple of years ago, but was sized out....might need to look at it again....
anyway, for more info on the campaign...

also want to give a shout out to QVC which has always carried XS-3X (and uses models of different sizes and ages) and is now starting to roll out size ranges up to 5X...also if you wear wide shoes give them a try (and no, i dont work for them....just a fan of their inclusivness)

I love your positive attitude, ladies.

Nice shout-out, kkards.

Diana, I nodded along to every word.

Suz and Janet, I'm inspired to get something from AE too - just because I'm in awe of this campaign. It's polar opposite to Victoria Secret whose campaigns are dated and sexist.

Curious if their model diversity extends to their lines.

Lisa and Janet, while the rest of their store skews younger in terms or merchandise, I see a lot of non-teenagers shopping in their loungewear section. I used to shop there quite a bit because I liked their denim (came in shorter inseams and they continued to sell low rises for a long time after other retailers stopped carrying them.)
