Scarf or no scarf?

Here is what I wore to church today. It's a bit chilly, so I had a chance to wear a cashmere sweater. I felt like all black and white was a bit much so threw in a hit of colour with the linen blend bright pink scarf. Was that a mistake??

ALso threw in a photo of my watch (lately obsessed with la mer watches) and shoes - just for fun!

I am a big fan of scarves and that one adds a punch of color but I like the shape of the outfit without the scarf.
I would wear it without the scarf for now.

Love those shoes. I think I agree with Celia, the colors with the scarf are great but it obscures the graphic lines of the sweater; I think I like it sans scarf a bit better.

I love your watch and shoes! I agree with celia and laura, better without the scarf. Maybe you could tie the scarf around the handles of your purse to have the same color without it obscuring your beautiful sweater.

I see where you were going with the scarf; I see a lot of photos in the fashion magazines with a black/white outfit and red accessories, like a red belt or shoes or a purse. Maybe one of the latter two would give you the little burst of color you want without interfering with the graphicness of your sweater?

I love scarves but in this case, I think that this outfit works better without the scarf. A bold red necklace may be a better choice with this neckline.

I love it all! Black and white with pops of red is a signature look for me, so I vote yay....in a necklace or bracelet, or even shoes, rather than the scarf!

I love the scarf. But you knew that, right? I would probably tie it in an infinity loop with this outfit though. Then you get that marvellous colour without obscuring the lines of your sweater, perhaps twisted and wrapped around itself to shorten it a bit further. Either that, or a shorter scarf that would lend itself to looping more easily.
