I've been looking forward to trying the shorter wide legs with sneakers and Angie's post was the perfect inspiration. I think I will be replacing my Pumas this spring but not with the Seinfeld sneakers--maybe a platform Adidas or an Ecco. Feedback and any sneaker recommendations are welcome! Thanks for looking!

Both outfits are gorgeous on you. I think I like the first one best. To me the white sneakers are a bit jarring because they are the only light color in the outfits. How about a medium neutral?

I love your longer hair. Despite what I'd normally expect--I think it makes you look younger and your hair lighter in weight. Younger because it full and seems to have a lot of body. Hope you can keep it during the summer.

You should definitely add this look to your repertoire. The wide legs are terrific on you and great with sneaks. Both jackets look good. I'm very found of blue and black together so that one catches my eye the most. The platform sneaks idea sounds fun!

So chic, kellygirl. I really like the navy and black combination. I remember there used to be some silly "rule" about not wearing black and navy together. Thank goodness that "rule" has been tossed aside. I concur with Brooklyn's recommendation of Superga platform sneakers. Additonally, you may want to check out AllSaints too for platform sneakers

Love both versions. I'd consider ECCO shoes - nice balance between sporty and city vibe ( in blue or blush for fun ).

Two perfect renditions of this week's formula. My current white sneakers are Nike Air Max 97's. They are super comfy and a favourite travel companion (I have this shoe in 2 other colour ways).

You rock this look even better than the model! What pants are you wearing? For sneakers, my vote is adidas over the ecco (my feet don't like the eccos, regardless of insole; YMMV) or vans https://www.vans.com/shop/clas.....true-white

Thanks, Fabbers! I felt great in them yesterday. They are so comfortable and the short wide hems were fun. It really helps to have them off the ground. Went shopping, walked Oreo and hung out at home without feeling the need to change!

@Susan: Thank you. I wore the navy bomber because I felt like the black moto looked too hard edge for the day’s activities. I changed to my Uniqlo puffer for walking Oreo but other than that, I felt perfectly appropriate. Thanks the hair compliment too. I can’t quite decide whether I like it wavy or not--sometimes it feels dated to me. It’s nice to have some options though--some days it’s pin straight. We’ll see if it starts to annoy when the weather warms up.

@christlej: Thank you! I’m seeing how this could actually work for work. I’d like to try it with some different shoe options though. Those Pumas are not very comfortable for all day.

@Brooklyn: Thank you! I really like the looks of Superga but they never fit my feet. The heels always slip out even on lace ups.

@bijou: Thank you! I love your Air Max’s. I had them the first time around. You wear them so well and they look so trendy. I’m not sure I could pull them off though.

@nemosmom: Thank you. You are too kind! The jeans are Free People Wales. I found them at TJMaxx around Christmas on clearance for $10. They’re probably a size too big but because they’re high waisted, they don’t move around much. I think I might have grown into them post holiday (ugh.) Anyway, I couldn’t find a viable link for them anywhere but I’d buy them again if I had the chance. I’d love these in white. I’ve always liked Adidas and am not averse to Vans either. Thanks for the recos!

Personally, I prefer the version with the blue simply because I prefer dark blue to black. But you wear both beautifully.

Re flatforms/platforms....i have a pair of Jslides that i really love,really comfortable..so while i don't have this pair, i would recommend tryin them

You look great in both versions. I like the white sneakers with it, too. I wear these Geox sneakers with my wide leg pants and love them because they are super comfortable. My version is sold out but Nordstrom carries several other similar white styles.

@Suz: Thank you. I know, I usually end up changing when I walk Oreo but these were great!
@bonnie: Thank you. Those Geox are gorgeous. I've heard of that brand but have never tried them. I think I might want a lower vamp so that I can wear them with skirts and dresses more easily. I'll definitely check out the options.

I like this a lot on you! I tend to add some white in the top of my outfit when I wear my white or white-soled sneakers. It just makes me feel a little more cohesive, but I’m mostly white-footwear-averse, so it helps me wear white shoes a bit more comfortably.
