...and I am, well, puzzled. So, I kindly ask for more of your wisdom.

Part 1 of this story is here. Basically, I spotted them on amazon and thought I might give them a go as they are deeply discounted and I need transitional shoes. Plus, adding some oopmh to my wardrobe is very needed. Since everyone is unanimous they are insanely comfortable, I simply had to give them a chance.

Now I have the issue of conversion charts between US and EUR sizing. Long story short, I ordered my size and one size up, but got shoes in US 9 and 10. I had expected 8.5 and 9 or 9 and 9.5.

10 are going back as they are huge.

Which leaves me with size 9. A bit annoying as I have no other options, but I have a feeling 9.5 would be too wide around the ankle, which would be a no-no for me.

Let me start by saying that apart from the very bold pattern, which is growing on me at rapid speed, these booties are simply beautiful. Something about the almond shape toes and overall style is so easy on the eye that they make me happy just looking at them. I would really like one pair in any color. (In every color if I'm honest.)

I can walk around the house in them, but that's not real life striding. I do wear thicker socks with them purely for the sake of testing the tightness factor. I can wriggle my toes, but the shoes do feel a bit tight.

Shannon mentioned that over time they soften rather than stretch. That is crucial as I want all-day shoe.

What is your experience with them? How did you find them changing and adapting to your feet over time? I don't want to keep them (*if* I decide they are not too loud for me) unless I can be sure they will be gentle on my feet.

Thank you.
