Who would think that much talked about SE Petty booties are being sold even here and through amazon of all places... well, they are and I just had an email advertising discount on all shoes and since I'm in bed with massive headache and a bit of cold I did not delete it but started browsing. And I saw the booties.
Let's assume I'm considering these. I need transitional/spring shoes. I'm talking need:want ratio being 95:5.
I already have taupe oxfords, so in order not to double on lighweigh footwear I'm considering the other pattern. It is also dramatic, which appeals to me more. (Dramatic being gentler word for loud...), but are they too dramatic for me?
Total honesty needed - would they work for me? I am used to seing python booties but haven't seen this style much... how do you even style them? I must admit that I can see them as potential neutral shoe, but they indeed are different from everything I ever had on my feet
Also, it's the fact you all say how comfortable they are that really makes me consider them seriously, that and their current price.
Another question, I've checked several old threads where you say they are TTS but since it's a new brand of shoes to me it doesn't mean that much unless I try them on. Do they stretch?
Finally, if you can point me to anyone's WIWs where I can get some ideas for styling before deciding that would be great.
Thanks.
