Yep, it's a big milestone birthday for me. I'm officially going to become a senior citizen. Yikes! Where did the time go? Ha, in my mind, I'm still somehow in my 20s, although my joints and muscles tell me otherwise.

The weather has cooled down considerably, so I thought my barrels would be a fun, trendy option to wear for the day. I find these barrels aren't too exaggerated for me. Paired them with my black and white gingham top. Chose a cropped black cardigan to help balance the silhouette. These black Mary Jane's were bought to appease my recent foot issues, which now demand a round wide toe box. Not quite as refined as I would like, but definitely comfy and still suitable to my eye. I'm feeling rather gamine in this combo.
