I retired two weeks ago and I am struggling. I have always been a busy fairly structured person. I have yet to get into a routine. My main job at this point is taking care of my husband that has a variety of medical problems. My concern at this point is I am having a tendency to stay in workout clothes if I am just hanging around here or just running to the grocery. This is not me. I need to get the motivation to dress each and everyday because it helps me to stay positive.
I am not sure if I am missing work or depressed. I am feeling a little lost especially in the getting dressed part. I know I will not need a lot of clothes but how did you find your retirement style and your niche in retirement. Because of my husband’s health our retirement does not look like I thought it would and I am sure that is part of the issue. He is having knee surgery on Feb 6th so that will keep me close to home for a while.

I know this sounds whiney and I apologize for that. I also realize that there are far more important things happening in the world that my feelings on retirement and dressing.

If anyone has any suggestions or things that helped them please share.
