Oh, Deborah, I love my Reports for skirts/dresses and boot cuts and even BFs rolled and sometimes even my straight leg jeans.
They are super comfortable. I find them TTS. I'm usually between a 6.5 and a 7. I took the 7 because in boots I generally go that way, and it is right. My foot has a very slightly wide forefoot and very narrow heel. I found them very, very comfortable right out of the box. I wore them as 10 hour walking shoes in NYC. I have worn with socks and barefoot. These are the first bootie I could imagine wearing in warm (ish) weather. I don't wear them in our hot summers, but did wear them in the mountains when I was there.
However, two caveats. I was developing a slight corn between my baby toe and the next toe and these shoes exacerbated it a bit; I just wore one of those toe protector thingies and it went away. (And I could wear the shoes without trouble.)
Also, I had to add rubber backing to the bottom because otherwise they slipped on pavement and hardwood. I did so and have not looked back.
You would look stunning in the blue!
Please note also that they are quite loose in the ankle. It is perhaps a slightly more casual vibe than your usual. The V is flattering in front, but looking down, it can feel a bit odd, somehow - that gap, I mean.
