Red! WIW oldie day 3.

Today I wore an oldie outfit to a book launch about hope, heart and healing in medicine. One of the panellists started an organisation called Hearts in Healthcare, which has red in its logo. I was just in the audience but wearing red felt appropriate!
The skirt is 2010, and the red top 2011, with the necklace bought to complete the outfit for a friend's 50th in 2011. You get to see the 2011 boots again. The red bag was a gift from Mum in about 1991, I don't use it often but it matched perfectly and is old. The black jacket is only a 2016 garment, it reached 100 wears today! All comments welcome.

Red is absolutely a winner on you. Lol I just read the last 4 comments and they all start off like mine! It tells you how strikingly beautiful the color on you. Red and black is a classic, and you do it well. I'd love to see you in other red combinations. Like red and pale blue, or red and cream, or red and denim. Or with hints of a third color like turquoise, orange or pink!

You look wonderful in red and the outfit quite well put together with the great use of accessories ( purse and necklace perfect size and look). Personally I think you should use Mum’ s purse more often it’s a great color and fun!!

And may I say you look great standing next to that car...in this house we refer to it as “ police pulled me over red”- lol

now that's taking matching to a new level....
as other's have noted, that's your red. as for the skirt, i was in a local boutique yesterday, and it looked like tulle was making a fashion statement this spring, so that skirts perfect!

Thank you all, you know how to make a girl feel good! That was Neil's idea to take the car shot, he was just saying goodbye when he yelled Stop! And made me move in front of the car, that's why the key is in the door. He said I perfectly matched the car. He likes the skirt, he likes any skirts that he calls "full", says it's a nice shape. It seems more like an evening outfit, usually.

Oh, I love you in red! The lipstick is the perfect shade. How great to have a bag that your mum gave to you in 1991 and lovely to please DH with your outfit. And how good to have a car to match the whole thing! FAB!
