As Angie reminds us: never say never. A few months ago ,I literally scoffed at all of the uber-trendy-girl chunky white Fila sneakers that were in all the top shoe stores. NO WAY would I wear those - and why would anyone even want to unless they were a 21 yr old instagrammer chick?

Never mind those, I would also NEVER have entertained the thought of reddish pants - ever.

So, the question begs: just because you can, does it really mean you should?
Of course not. And I wonder if I'm getting too far away from my style goals here....but boy does this feel sharp and comfortable to hit the grocery store. I started out the day in the outfit in Pic#4 - same white embellished t, knit plaid wide leg cropped pants, new Blondo boots (which are HORRIBLE and hopefully going back) and a lined poly blend "car coat". Changed to the chinos, decided to haul out the white sneakers (which I've had for a month now and not yet worn - fear of having crossed the line maybe?) and a new fun plaid sweater coat.

My hair? I had it coloured about 9 days ago, and it faded pretty quickly into a weird dusty rust colour so we recoloured it yesterday . It's a little harsh and extreme right now, but I am happy with the decision to go back to red. Every single person (I'm not exaggerating) who has seen me has commented enthusiastically on it - especially the men, which is odd - and another subject altogether (why do people feel free to comment on someone else's appearance???)

None of this is translating very well colour-wise in these photos, and perhaps it's simply the limits of an iPhone camera (although it's a new phone) . Or the limits of the photographer

Anything red seems to literally vibrate off the screen on this site I've noticed, so I'm leaving the photos as they are.

Comments, hair and sneaker jokes - it's all welcome
