I have red boots, so given today's outfit formula, I decided to wear them. I love my red boots - but don't wear them as much as I expected to. I think Angie summed it up perfectly when she said:
They can look jarring and “super hero” in an outfit, but that’s their charm. Wear bright red boots and be noticed. It’s high time we connected with our inner Wonder Woman.
So, embracing my inner Wonder Woman, I decided it was high time to wear the boots and add a cape. Surprisingly, I felt really good in this and not like I was in dress up. For me, sometimes two dramatic elements sort of balance each other out making the outfit feeling less jarring.
Cape - Cue
Grey knit - Zara basics
Grey skinny jeans - J Brand
Red bag - Samantha Thavasa
Red boots - XSA (about 5 years old and only worn occasionally)
I think I will make a bit more effort to wear these boots as I enjoyed wearing them.
