Photos 1 and 2 - Yesterday I wore my black/teal/green/yellow/off white tweed skirt. It's very comfy and has become a go-to favorite (it doesn't need to be ironed!). If the weather would warm up a bit, I would wear it with a black button-down, but it was very cold and damp so I wore it with my black turtleneck. The short sweater is off-white with a touch of pearly silver in it. It angels forward in the front and is shorter in he back. Black fleece lined tights and black boots kept me toasty warm. And I was photo-bombed by Cosmo Edward, who was anxiously awaiting his supper.

Photo 3 - Today I wore my wine colored pencil skirt (it looks brown in the photo, but it's wine with a brown undertone), brown loop belt, chambray button-down (cuddl dud worn under for warmth) micro fishnets and brown boots.

Photos 4 - 8 - Now for my question - I was playing around with my red pencil skirt and chambray top - my inspiration photo is #7 - and trying it with my brown boots instead of shoes (it's so cold and snowy outside!). I always wear my black boots, and I'm trying to wear my brown boots more often. Anything worth wearing in public here? Dark brown boots, cognac boots, or light brown cowboy-ish boots or should I give up on the boot thing, wear shoes and have frozen legs? Perhaps instead of the micro fishnets, brown tights would work better, as in the last photo?

After about a hundred more Pilates classes I might consider tucking in the top, but for now, untucked with a belt will have to do.
