I reached for this slight A-line LBD for teaching today. I went for a simple gold strand and button earrings, but added a bit of playfulness with my shoes and polish. This is as minimal as it gets, here folks!
1. Dress: WalMart. Yup. Came with a cheesy yellow belt that I tossed, but this thing wears like Iron!
2. Close up of Kelly & Katie shoes and turquoise polish. Not subtle!
I found this dress at the BR outlet store today. It's barely styled, and it's hard to see the hemline in the photo, but it's a subtle hi/lo. The dress is a thin modal, but it is double layered, and the underlayer of the bodic is fitted like a tank, which makes it safe to bend over in the cowl neck. The color is off a little because it's night (and I look so tired), but it's a lovely berry shade.
Is is flattering enough to keep to wear in the heat, perhaps layering under my denim jacket in the early fall?
BTW -- This pose is making me look like a mannequin. Gotta bust a move and change it up next time!
