It was warm enough for this coat today (inspired by today's blog post) - if I had driven to work - but taking public transit is unpredictable so I went with my dull black lightweight puffer .

I wear these very slim straight pants about once a month and have had them for a couple of years. They fit my responsible /slow fashion (made in Portugal by époque evolution ) ideal and I hope to have them forever. The fit and styling have an old-school alpine or nordic ski vibe which is why I'm ok with the very slim cut. In denim? No thank you, but this fabric has all the best attributes of a performance textile and feels wonderful on. Very much worth the price paid .

Anyways - it was also "wear red" day at work today (we are in the midst of Smart for Your Heart month ) so out came my Artizia cash/wool blend sweater ,old Club Monaco pearls and old Matt & Natt oxfords. Felt good in this today .
