Saturday found me playing with my grandson at a local playground and picking pumpkins. The temps were cool, but I wanted to keep track of DGS, not extra layers, so I wore this sweatshirt. It has cute bow details down the back. We had a fun and busy day.
Saturday evening I attended the wedding of one of my former students. She now works at our school as one of our secretaries. She was a darling student and is now a lovely, lovely young woman. She planned an outdoor ceremony at a seaside resort, with an elegant reception to follow inside the event center.
After the playtime with DGS I had an hour and a half to get cleaned up and ready for the wedding. I had my outfit ready. There would be no time for second thoughts. Once I got in the car, I noticed a small tear in the lace on one arm. Grrrr. Too late to do anything about it. Off I went. The bride and groom were radiant and the wedding celebration quite spectacular.
