what do you ladies think of this jacket? sorry it does need a good press.im thinking of wearing this outfit to a christening in april.the jacket is a cropped style does it look too small for me?
also what about these trousers? they are a jersy material perphaps not polished enough for a christening
lastly what about slingback courts ? do they look too skinny with the ankle width of the trousers? too many questions iknow but if i sort the outfit now i wont end up wearing any old thing as usual!

I think the jacket is ok with slouchier pants as you have it, but i think jackets are trending longer.

those slingbacks are super. I love those pants.

The jacket is a tad small but the whole outfit looks nice. I especially like the pants and shoes.

Yes, I also thought that jacket is better longer with the pants. Pants look good and shoes too. Do you have a longer jacket to try?

Yes, I would prefer a longer jacket but if you wear this one I would add a pretty brooch or corsage on the lapel, or a longer colourful scarf to dress it up a bit for the christening, maybe even a nice necklace.

Longer jacket with this pants or this jacket with a dress or a skirt, I would prefer the second option, as I find the pants a bit too casual for the event!

I quite like the shrunken look of the jacket. I prefer it with the ombré layer underneath though. The blue under the white is quite dynamic. Love the style of the pants but can't speak to if they are dressy enough. I like the sling backs, they are sleek and the pointy toes creates that nice long line. I'm biased cos I would wear this in a heartbeat:). I'd add a long pendant:)

I also like the "shrunken" look of the jacket. I like the detail around the neck and I would second a brooch. The pants and shoes look great for a Christening.

Have you thought of wearing the shirt out and maybe a belt ? Then the shrunken jacket over it. That makes the jacket look more purposeful, I think.

I'd keep the top untucked so it's longer than the jacket to create more of a broken horizontal line (more flattering) and I would add a pendant necklace and maybe other jewelry or a scarf to dress it up - and I think you would be good to go.
