Purple rain and new thrifted shoes!

Today is going to be a warm summer day. Great!!! So I am wearing:

Dolce&Gabanna cotton cardigan
Didi t-shirt
Sarah Pacini linnen harempants
Wolky sandals (sorry for my non-yet-pedicured toes)
Leather bag (no brand)

And I've just received via mail my Art boot-shoes. They are just perfect for my orthotics and chunky and strong looking, so perfect for my new style. I am planning on wearing in the winter with thick socks or tights. I am very happy with my purchase because thay were very cheap for such a great quality shoes and even thrifted they were new. I have made the walking test and they are going to be muy musthave for parties and going-out when I have to sit a lot. I hope my health stays this way and I can just wear them the whole winter. What do you think? Do you like them???

Love your new Art shoes. I like that brand, got a pair of tall black boots last winter. Also bravo on the purple trousers, I don't think I have the courage to wear that style, but it does look funky and stylish! Have fun today!

Ooh! I am loving the pink and purple outfit! Those pants are awesome and look very comfy! I also think the new boots are a great purchase and will look excellent with tights in the fall. Looking forward to many outfit posts with those boots!

hello everybody!
First of all, thanks for your reactions to my outfit. I do like colour. I wish more people would play more with it because it can make you much happier. It can make your day.
I've had indeed a lot of luck thrifting this summer. I just can afford to pay full price for clothes I like. Plus I think it is much more eco friendly going for second hand clothes. I also like new clothes, but I think I am being enviromentally friendlier this way and my bankaccount suffers less.
I have just got last week:
-twinset from Dolce&gabanna €30
-LiuJo dress (silk and rayon) €30
-Camper pumps €20

So I am very happy with these purchases. I mean it is not like 5$. It is still money, but if you think what they cost new then I get a big smile on my face and they are really like new. Do you also thrift a lot?Maybe I wil begin a conversation next week hereabout.

FAB outfit!!! I love the harem pants, and it's awesome that they are linen! I wish I could find some like that.

And I am in love with those shoe-boots. I will have to check out the brand. I need orthotic-friendly shoes too.

after my second post when you all helped me so much I did a lot of research and I found a lot of new brands I did not know which are orthotic friendly:
-Art
-Shabbies (I do not know if they are internationally known, but here in The Netherlands are big)
-Camper
-Timberland
-Clarks (not all the styles are orthotic friendly, I think), but they are comfortable
-Fly London
-Gabor
-Durea
-El Naturalista
Some of them do not have a removable footbed, but in the case of boots is not such a big deal because you still can fit your orthotic if you get the right fit/style of boots.
These brands are available in Europe, but I think that a lot of them are also sold in USA.

I like them because most of them are funky, casual and modern.

What a happy and beautifully arty outfit! The artwork surrounding you is so appropriate! This silhouette is great on you, too, and I imagine the comfort is high.

Finding funky shoes while wearing orthotics is quite an accomplishment!

BTW --- It's very helpful to see newer members post often --- I get a chance to absorb your style, and then, when you ask for feedback, I feel like I can be more helpful.
