Purple leopard spotted skinnys & my carb addiction

I am so happy to debut my new jeans and in case you are wondering they are Diane Gilman who I love. Funny the only time I feel spunky and sassy in pants are when I am rockig a pair of her skinnys and booties or shooties.. In other news, I am finally ready to stop this slow down in my weight loss and tackle the final 10 pounds.. Step one is admitting that I am a carb addict which certainly surfaced during my recent bout of stomach bugs and sinus infections these last three weeks.. Who craves fruit, veggies and protein when their stomach is bothering them or their sinuses mess up their taste buds? Obviously not me.. I am going to start posting my plan of action and revealing my ways to success on my blog if anyone is interested in reading along...

Ooh, sassy pants! I am also a total carb addict... I could only kick them for about 1 week, and then I was off the wagon. Doing as much gluten free as possible now, which is not as good but better than pastries all the livelong day. Good luck, and high five for taking the plunge!

Love those pants! Best part, aside from how great you look, is that you feel great in them.

Regarding carbs (and his evil friend sugar) I feel your pain. You might want to give Dr. Gundry's book a look. He has a different approach that might help you. Worked for me. But the holidays got me off track and some of my bad habits have slid back in. Right now I'm struggling with my diet so I'm reading the book again as a refresher. It's not easy. Good Luck.

Just the kind of outfit I would aspire to--feminine without being cloying about it. Love black and purple together anyway, but the silhouette is sleek and modern.

I started a sugar addict discussion in OT that had many interesting viewpoints and suggestions. It is certainly challenging, but seems to be worthwhile to kick these foods to the curb.

I had this kicked for 9 months as I lost weight but it kicked into overdrive on my Cayman trip and has been out of control ever since... If I just get back to WW plan and staying within the healthy eating guidelines of how many servings to eat in each category, it is easy to stay on track because it is more food!!! Thanks for the support!

Carb addict who me? Just had my second pastry of the day... I rationalize the savoury spinach ones as somehow healthier
But don't be too hard on yourself. It's totally normal to crave comfort food when you're sick. Probably just what your tummy needed!

It's possible to kick the carb addiction if you can make it through the first week or so. Then, it's amazing how the cravings disappear. Not easy, though. A very difficult cycle to break. Your outfit is smashing. Love the modern casual look.
