I was so excited when I saw the UPS man carrying a big box to my front door that I practically leapt on him. I restrained myself and ended up giggling like a loon instead
Here they are. I like the color even more than I thought it would. It's a nice, dark purple--not bright and scary.
The thing that concerns me is that they're wide on my narrow feet--even when I pull the laces as tight as I can. I had this problem with Converse shoes too.
They're not uncomfortable, at least as far as walking around the house goes, but I don't know if they'd rub on my feet a lot if I did more walking in them. It's a guessing game for me!
Should I just wear a couple of pairs of thick socks and get to work breaking these puppies in; or, should I send them back and look for a lace-up boot that's narrower?
When you have doubts like these do you err on the side of caution?
