This ensemble feels much more focused and en pointe (see what I did there? ) than the previous one did. UGH that was a disaster. Anyway, I could have just as easily titled this "How the Right Clothing Makes One Feel Graceful" because simply having this outfit on seems to influence how I move and feel. Of course, the artsy poses are just for fun, but I do feel like sitting up straighter and walking more lightly.
The dress is a tea length cocktail style a-line, double layer of black chiffon with gold thread woven through it, and has braided straps that tie behind the neck as well as a matching braided belt. Because it's snowing today, and I'm not a complete wanton harlot most days, I put another shirt under that is double layers of micromesh. The sleeves are ... not sure what you call that, curly hemmed?? So they add a feminine feel to something that could look very hard and goth club-esque otherwise. I am wearing simple black tights, black flats with gold studs, and a gold and pink art deco style necklace/earring set. For makeup, I decided that very dramatic elongated cat eye eyeliner was in order, then softened that up with some pink lipstick and feminine flushed cheeks. My hair is left straight and smooth with a glossing hair spray to hold it in place.
What say you, fair fellow fabbers? Does this look like a better version of "Punk Ballerina"? Is anyone else experiencing the fresh fall of white death that we are getting here? Anyone else craving Cocoa Puffs right now?
