PSA: Refined sweatshirt dresses @ Seasalt Cornwall

I know I bang on about this brand sometimes lol, but just thought I'd share them again for the folk in the comments looking for more fitted (yet still comfy) sweatshirt dresses. They do free shipping worldwide over a certain amount:

~ styles fitted at the shoulders (!) & differing sleeve lengths
~ necklines from hoods & boatnecks to V necks & everything in between!
~ petite/ tall/ regular sized availability (can either filter by these or check each item's size chart - I sometimes buy regular for a longer length, but petite is usually still plenty long enough on 5ft3 me)

I personally have the ‘Merchants dress’ (below) in plum – it’s cotton fleece lined with a smooth cotton exterior, pockets (!), a flattering Hepburn collar & neatly folded 3/4 sleeves. The curved seam panels make it well shaped over my hips but still comfily oversized. I wore it for smart casualwear & quick errands until a bleach mishap rendered it as loungewear instead It's held up in the wash otherwise though!

Oh that is a fantastic dress! Looks so comfy and versatile, and very polished. Darn bleach!! But sounds like it was a good workhorse.

Thanks for the push to look at Seasalt again; I had confused it with Kettlewell and thought it was the UK place with the dreary separates. Instead it looks a bit more like Boden’s moody cousin, which is more my speed.

Bodens moody cousin,oo.l like that!Seasalt is great quality and l love the vibe.l have a few raincoats from them but l generally find their colours too dark and dusty for me which is a shame because their clothing is lovely.That dress looks great,you will look lovely in it.

@Helena So my DH had used bleach in the bathroom without telling me first, so it's also on my Seasalt brown corduroy trousers lol! Oh well...

@cat2 I've ordered occasionally from Kettlewell because of their precise colour range, but their lack of natural fibres makes it less appealing to me too...

@Cardiff Girl How are their raincoats? I'm sorry the colour scheme doesn't work for you But that's part of why it works for me instead - I like Boden but sadly their colours are too bright & cool-toned on me :('

Not much available fight now for those who want warm colors (orange, coral, salmon, or citron green or midi length or, even better, knee length, but I will keep checking.

Their raincoats are very good and come in a variety of lengths and weights.l have been very happy with mine.

Thanks for the rec! These look right up my alley - Boden's moody cousin is my jam.

My goal-ish in 2022 is to seek out new brands, to boldly go where I have never shopped before, and this is a perfect start.

Ah, fair enough - personally I find all wool itchy, except for merino.
