Project dark romance continues here with lots of experimentation. I appreciate any feedback.
Outfit 1 (pics 1-3): I layered a green satin sleeveless top from COS over a silk blouse to create a vest look. The pearl handbag strap is a cheap renovation to my DVF bag, which has been a workhorse for years. The strap cost less than $20 from Forever New.
Outfit 2 (pics 4-5): More layering. I hardly ever wear shirts because I have an aversion to collars and to the stiff feel of woven cotton. I much prefer knitwear. This shirt is also very ornate for my style. So I eased myself into it by layering a knit over it. It’s a bit 90s again with the short sleeves. I don’t know whether this look will find favour with the forum, but I didn’t mind it.
Outfit 3 (pics 6-8): lots of black. Lucky Angie is away. The skirt has a satin finish and the moto jacket has a tweed finish, so there is a fair bit of texture here, despite the monochrome. The studded fingerless gloves are from Etsy. I stand by my claim that they are indeed pretty.
Outfit 4 (pics 9-10): more brooches and pearls. The pics show the outfit with and without my mixed media jacket.
