This pic was taken to laugh at myself for the throw pillows, but shows how things are coming along.

I seem to have lost my finials and tie-back trim, oh dear.

What I’m looking for now (and wouldn’t mind some help with!) are textiles—a rug and maybe a bedspread/coverlet/duvet cover. I wanted this room to be pinks and blues—fuchsia and magenta and raspberry and maraschino cherry and teal and French blue and turquoise and sky blue. I whiffed on the curtains—fell in love with this fabric—so I need to get some pinks in the rug. I’d like a playful, “whimsical” pattern, the kind of thing that gets filed under “florals” but isn’t really flowers, might have some paisley in it, all very airy & light, with white in the mix. If we use age stereotypes, (because they are familiar even if we don’t agree with them), it’d lean “young girl” more than “old lady”.

Any suggestions on where to look for that?

Another version would be the same colors as above, but laid out like this little guy—a botanical trim around the edges of a thick, high pile rug (a couple sizes up from this). I’ve been surprised how hard it is to find one. The company that made this one has similar in lots of color ways, but not what I’m looking for.

Update: the letters I had thought were stolen from the storage locker are here! They won’t go in the bedroom, of course, I’m just excited about them.
