First, it's not hot out--actually it's very cool and breezy, and I saw a woman in a scarf and jacket this morning. So I get the added advantage of reaching for a jacket (that third item) and being able to avoid that whole shorts boondoggle. Win!

And the Born shoes. After a few seasons of non-wear, they came awfully close to a purge. Glad I didn't. I'd worried they were too girly and sweet, but they seem to have a lot of warm-weather styling potential.

(Same thing about a purge close call could be said about the necklace. It's not lying flat due to selfie, but skims the neckline of this tank and adds a little texture.)

And the problematic silk tank...I think it looks nice here.

I was tempted to go out wearing a graphic tee (Boston Improv Comedy Festival) but thought I'd save that lazy fallback for at least a HOT day.

Haircut scheduled for the 18th with same brilliant stylist. It's maintaining well, but I'm considering having the front more bang-like. Can you do that with these crazy curls? I'll let her decide.
