I’ve been wearing these floral sock booties a TON this week (statement workhorses!) and for some reason they appear to be man magnets. Women never comment on them, but men will stop me in the street, in the subway, at a party to compliment them. And the really interesting thing is they all say the same thing: “what pretty shoes!” In Spanish, in English, in Chinese depending on the person— they have all chosen that same “pretty” in their own language. Isn’t that ODD??? I feel like I rarely hear men use the word “pretty,” but there must be some visceral floral response going on here....
