It seems like there is always one question or another about workout wear on the forum. I thought it would be fun to have a thread of pictures of our workout wear (even if it's been posted in another thread already). As soon as I get into mine, I will post a picture.
In the meantime- let's see you in yours!

You're not the only one Srujana! I am usually a sweaty mess when donning my yoga pants and cotton tee. Not exactly glamorous, but the results surely are!

Here is mine- for Yoga, obviously. I've been meaning to find some better shoes and a heavier sweater, but this is what I am currently wearing.

I must admit the only picture I have is with me dripping sweat from a summer run. Can't even see the clothes, really. Oh, wait - I have my triathlon pic . . . I may have had to wear spandex, but I was going to be as cute as I could in it lol!! Zoot is the brand if anyone needs specialized tri-sport, wet to dry racing duds. (and it runs SMALL)

I wear absolutely ridiculous workout wear. Short shorts, argyle knee socks, pink camo and sometimes my Princess Leia costume.....

I don't vary much from it, just different colored tops and now, thanks to another stern warning from my dermatologist, I sport a baseball cap too.

Oh you guys are bad ass! Steffie, I harbour a secret desire to lift a lot of heavy things - it's gotta be awesome being so strong. Must suck up my nervousness and get to the weights area of the gym.

Here's what I wore to the gym today. I also tend to use the gym as an excuse to wear all my dorky fun graphic tees. I won't frighten you with a post of me in my wetsuit or my swimming costume however.

LOL! I am totally impressed that some of you ladies DRESS UP to workout?! I'm not about to post MY workout wear, which consists of whatever knit shorts and strappy cami I SLEPT IN! Don't worry, I workout at home, so no one has to see me

Steffie! You go, girl! I just started a weight-lifting regime (and it IS a regime!) this summer. Can't wait to say I can lift those heavy weights! I'm still at a measly 45-lb deadlift... LOVE the pink camo pants! I would SO workout in something like that!

I'm loving seeing all these pics of everyone getting their sweat on!! As for the cotton tees vs spandex or dry tech fabrics, it never used to be a thing for me until I started running and especially in the FL climate. For over 15 years I was fine with cotton tees over bike shorts at the gym, or rollerblading, or whatever. Cotton and heavy sweat do NOT mix. And when I mean heavy sweat, here is proof positve - NOT a glamour shot lol! Oh, and this also illustrates well the problem of sweat marks on a non-black background for Leah

This is me looking freezing cold. I was going mountain biking in 35F with loads of windchill, rain and blustery winds.

So- lycra leggings with padded shorts underneath them, baggy shorts over them for more warmth, 5-10s cycling shoes with additional ankle support and grippy soles, Helly Hansen base layer, cycling jersey, waterproof jacket, gloves and of course, my helmet.

And of course, my favourite possession in the world above all my dresses and skirts: my mountain bike.

Dawn - excellent!

Steffie - I love lifting heavy things. Can I be you when I grow up? Every Tuesday I go to the gym, my trainer says "What do you want to do today?" (this is a rhetorical question, as he is going to tell me what I want to do), but I always answer "Lift heavy things!"

Well... the only workout photos I have are from a 5k earlier this year. It was hot and I was very tired.

(The tee shirt was from the event sponsoring the 5k.)

Steffie and hbaber, are you doing Crossfit too? Woo hoo! I just joined two weeks ago. I.love.it.
I haven't skinned my knees yet, but my husband has. I'm sure it won't be too long before I break down and get knee socks.

I think Crossfit is the only place you can wear short shorts and knee socks and totally fit in. I think it looks hilarious and sexy and fierce all at once. I really do recommend them for deadlifts and rope climbs- it will help!

Good for you in your first 2 weeks! It's going to change your life, I promise.
