Yeah, that bruise on my thigh is from falling flat on my tush and dropping the bar on myself. It was my first attempt at push jerks. And both my knees are solid bruises - not sure why.

Wow, Steffie and Sarah! You have me all excited to look into Crossfit! I've been working with a trainer at the gym and just signed up for another three months, but honestly I was wondering what to do after that because it's just prohibitively expensive to do indefinitely. I did a little googling and it looks like there is a pretty awesome Crossfit gym close to where I work. I'm going to have to check it out!

What a fun thread! Sorry I don't have any photos to post. It's not usual that I take a photo at such times

Yay, Sarah! So proud of you! CrossFit is the best.

MK, totally look into it. It will be one of the best things you have EVER done for yourself. =)

I used to do martial arts and I really liked the camaraderie of the classes, with all levels working together and encouraging one another. I just got tired of getting kicked and punched. Sounds like Crossfit might have some of what I liked about it, minus the blows to the head! LOL

And BTW, here's what I'm wearing to tap class this evening. Then after tap I'm wearing the same thing, with a change of shoes and socks, to work out with my trainer at the gym.
