sort of. He kids that he came up with the idea long ago - Paganwear, a clothing line for hip snowboarders. But he likes a more refined version. The F21 vest he declared cheap looking, but we both were petting the merlot colored Express jacket lol. Had it not had a zip up closure it may have come home with us.

No idea. He has never seen me wearing it, but that's for comfort more than aesthetic reasons - I can't stand the feeling of fur tickling my skin. He's never mentioned anything about it with regards to other people wearing it, though, so I'm guessing he's indifferent.

I just asked him- he said he doesn't have a strong opinion one way or another. An occasional piece is fine, but he's not in love with them.

I just asked him: "I think it can look fun. It depends, you know? If it's worn whimsically, like as a vest or something, then I tend to like it." (not sure how a vest is whimsical, but I think he means in a new, sort of fun way, vs. an old fashioned way, if that makes sense)

He won't see me wearing faux fur, so never mind how he feels about it. He doesn't mind the faux fur on the hats of the children's coats (I do).

Since I'm not a fan of the Clan of the Cave Bear look myself, I'd never wear it, so I don't know for sure if my honey likes it....but I strongly suspect he would not! hehehe But now I'm curious. I'll have to ask him!

Greg does not like faux fur that looks like real fur at all. *AT ALL*. But he really likes my faux fur waistcoat because it looks mega fake and fun. My '70s jacket has faux fur that looks like hair (not fur) and he likes that too.

Jamie loves my faux fur vest -- says I look like a rock star in it. I am so lucky. He loves my new wardrobe, and my boot collection (he never grumbles when another pair appears in the closet!).

Mine said, "Faux fur?"

Then I showed him a vest I rather like from Free People. If I could, I would buy it but cost + frequency of my wearing it = Not worth a purchase

Him: "That looks like yak fur."

Me: "Yes, that's why I like it. Texture!"

Him: "Yeah, okay, I guess."

I just asked and he said "yes". Not sure if I believe him, though...he usually doesn't like anything that makes too strong of a statement. He might just be pulling my leg!

My fiancé is very visible fur phobic . He loves where there is fur on the inside of boots or jackets ( like shearling) but thinks anything on outside it's attention grabbing and "something women wear to impress other women". He doesn't even like it when it's a trim.

Oh gosh this is a tricky little number Una, I think Ben prefers fake fur trim or short haired numbers (just like my British short haired cat Domino). Well I just like it all!

Tee hee, me & a couple of friends were talking about just this at lunch today! One of the girls has bought a faux fur - she's not sure but her husband LOVES it which apparently is quite a relevation! So she's keeping it

I've just asked my own hubster & he thinks it's great - so much better than the real thing.

I haven't tried it out on him yet. I'm guessing he would be indifferent as long as it's not a piece that looks like I'm wearing a yak. I need to get him to the mall to test my theory.

He says either faux or real he hates it.

Mind you, he loves my jacket I wear all the time. It has faux fur lining and it is turned back on the collar and cuffs...

Years ago I had a parka made in Inuvik with wolf trim collar and cuffs. He loved, loved, loved that one.

So I guess a little bit but not all decked out.

I asked. First he needed examples so I showed a couple of coats for sale online that I like. Ridiculous! he declared. I rather suspect that this is one of those things he could come around to though. I think he would at least see the fun side of it.

Not in vests or chubbies, but he does like it to trim parkas or on the collars of jackets. He says it makes me look like a snow bunny... ok!

My husband picked out the faux fur coat I bought years ago, so I suspect he likes it in general. I'm not sure what his opinion would be on a vest though. He's strongly in favor of practical over fun and since I'm always cold, he'd be concerned about my exposed arms.

Well you all know what mine did/said ... so funny! It's a big fat NAY!!
It's funny because I just bought my vest last night at Target in the girls' section. It was just the two of us on a sexy date to Target and I was wearing it around the store while we were shopping. When we got to the checkout he said .... "Oh Honey... you forgot to take that vest off." I said, "I'm getting this!" Then he started laughing ...
Maybe he was laughing because it's from the girls' section ....

I just asked DH and he gave my faux fur vest a thumbs up. I asked him WHY he liked it. "It's edgy," he said.

I feel very lucky. Wore the fur vest out to dinner a couple of weeks ago. He knew I was a little out of my comfort zone, so he kept telling me to walk with confidence. "Act like you've worn it before," he said. Sweetie.
