Great challenge!! I'm tacking on the past few days as well because, well, it's all keeping it real
Today is miserable and rainy and I'm tired and hormonal and haven't showered and have to be out of the house for a few hours so I defaulted to "cozy" to make me feel better.
Vince cashmere sweater, HM white scarf, JBrand BFs, Aldo booties. Bonus shot with H&M navy jacket on top. Looking not-too-impressed to be leaving soon in the rain. Realized I likely have a wardrobe hole for edgy, waterproof, non lace up booties. I have lots and lots of great booties. However, most are suede. I default to my black Frye engineer boots or my Born lace up combat boots in nasty weather. They are showing their wear. I should step-up for some great Aquatalias or something totally waterproof, slip on, sleek, yet fab. Making a note to keep my eyes out. I'm thinking I should stick with cognac. My Borns are workhorses so something in a similar colour yet sleeker might be worth looking for. But I digress. Must be rational. I feel some emotional spending coming on.
Working backwards...#3 yesterday 11.02.14 wore to watch hockey and run errands. BR Cableknit turtleneck, Vigoss destroyed skinny BFs, Fossil belt, Born combat boots.
#4 - Saturday 11.01.14 - Gap peach'ish sweater, Aldo scarf (with little birdies...it makes me smile), Diesel jogg jeans, Frye boots
#5 - Friday - 10.31.14 Halloween - token orange & black outfit - hosted 11 teen and pre-teen boys to hang-out for pizza & trick or treating. Anthro orange sweater, Black AE jeggings, Striped socks, Frye boots. Whoa clearly need some blush because I am looking washed out.
#6 - H&M navy jacket, Hudson jeans, Frye boots, and a big swath of plaid fabric that I picked up on a whim when I was shopping for some viking-sail fabric for DS' school project. I just LOVED the fabric and it's so cozy. Need to finish up the edges, but it's cozy to just pile on and at least feel that I'm riding the plaid trend.....
Thanks for looking at my keeping it real ;). Comments/critiques totally appreciated....
