PMWIW: Is this an Angie formula?

I feel like this is an Angie ensemble but can't find the forum post for it! In any case, I actually have a sick kid at home but a friend kindly offered to watch him so I could run to a planned lunch date with another friend. So I got motivated and put this together, inspired by N-Marie's post today! I'm not sure it's me, but I'm certainly pushing my limits here. I feel like the sweater is too long and more shirt should be showing. All feedback welcome!

ON Rockstar skinnies (YES, WHITE!), Equipment plaid shirt, old Pim & Larkin sweater, Seychelle booties.

Love this outfit. I looks effortless and casual, but each element is super cool. White jeans, cool sour colored sweater anchored by the plaid.

It really looks like an Angie formula...white jeans rolled, booties, plaid under sweater. I really think I saw that recently!

And I love it on you...very cheerful take on winter wear. Love the bright citron.

Completely love this on you. Don't feel bad. You aren't the only one who moved from the "dark" side to drink Angie's white jeans Koolaid. And doesn't winter feel shorter ?

Love how colors and careful piece selection allow you to keep that Una edge, yet all benefit from the illumination of the skinnies.

I really like this further twist you've made on N-Marie's look. Not much traditional rustic look for plaids around here!

I think you look fantastic in white! And the combo with the citrus is great (very Angiesque)
I do find it hard to keep the tails for the shirt visible as well unless the sweater is cropped or the shirt is quite long (which makes them less versatile for other uses IMO).

Thanks all! I don't have as much trouble with white on the bottom, although it's not so practical in our weather. But I am glad this works - it's more complex than my usual outfits. And I added this Target necklace and something about that helped pull it together for me even more.

I may have another formula for my repertoire!

You totally inspire me with the white jeans ! How awesome. I think that it is hard to pull off white jeans with dark hair but you nailed it. The sweater is a fantastic color on you. I don't know about the length, it looks good to me but my eye is really not that good at that. The difference seems subtle to me.

Sara L, I meant to add that this was a one-off pair I found that is a totally different fabric. It's thick, opaque and dense, and slightly off white, like muslin. I don't know what it was doing there. I bought these last summer (a year ago).

This is absolutely sensational. WOW!!!!!

Cohesive, a bit preppy, and a bit rock and roll. Love how you can bookend dark booties with your hair (so jealous!) and carry off the citron. Love the plaid with its white and the jeans!!

I know they are not practical for our winters (except maybe rolled???) but...in Alaska surely they can work in the summer sometimes.... and if you get a few wears from them in transitional seasons like this, you will feel they are worth it for the change. Vivid, exciting, alive!

Thanks all! I do feel this is a bit of a departure, and Suz nailed why: it's cohesive. Most of my closet goes together but isn't "put together", if that makes sense. And there are three pieces and several colors plus a pattern going on - a skill many of you have, but not my forte. I would have to work to make this my own. But that's not a bad thing - fun with style, right?
