I headed outside today for today's shot and it was chilly! Fall is finally showing up around here.

Today's post features some thrifty fall finds. First up, my Aquatalia equestrian boots that I scored on eBay for $60. They were barely worn, but a buckle had popped off the strap. A trip to the cobbler and $7 later they are good as new. Tall equestrian boots are an essential for me, so I'm really glad to have a "new" pair in my closet.

The statement piece today is a thrifted floral blazer. I really like pattern and color in general, but I am trying to be more specific in my preferences. After looking at many, many options in stores and online I finally determined that I prefer high contrast and large scale florals, especially prints with a good dose of white, black, or blue. This knowledge helped me pass on many less than perfect options. I ended up with this steal of a jacket and the Ted Baker print sweater Angie featured this week. I'll try to do a wiw with that one soon.
