Do these outfits work? My work wardrobe is casual when I'm not in concert black. Can you help me think of ways to keep the vibe casual?

I think you look great! I especially love outfit 3, the colour combo, the booties and the pendant necklace, beautiful!

I think you've already find some very good ways to keep it casual: the scarf, the longer cardigan over the skirt, your footwear choices...

A denim jacket or a denim shirt/chambray shirt would work really well too, and the blue will look great with the colour of the skirt.

I like what you're doing with the pretty skirt and I really like #3 with the booties. With those booties, maybe using a black print (polkadot?) blouse would be fun! I also love the long cardigan, too, and think that adds to your desire for a casual touch.

I like all of these, and I think they are hitting the right note of not too casual/not too dressy (pun intended). I might copy your #2 since I have the same skirt and the same cardigan but in different colors. Like the yellow/magenta/brown combo, unexpected and fun.

@MaryK I did see your combo yesterday and love it! My denim shirt is a little bulky but i have a chambray blouse (almost a poet shirt) with voluminous sleeves. I'll give it a whirl.
@QueenMum this is last year's NAS sweater. I wore it tons last year and imagine I'll keep on wearing it.
@Vicki I love your suggestion of polka dots! I'll try that tool. These booties are actually purple suede--do they look black in the photo. I'm sure I would wind up wearing tights too. It's too warm and I was too lazy today! LOL!

Lovely color combinations in all of these. I think you've done a great job making these dressy-casual I like the idea of adding denim as others have suggested, and I think sweaters in general are going to be a great way to dress this skirt down.
