plaid on plaid plus novelty handbags!

I have been wanting to show you my novelty handbags ever since Chris’post on a Yorkie handbag and I finally got around to it today and serendipitously included some plaid on plaid.So 2 posts for the price of one!
#1 pumpkin handbag from Yoshi.l have been so wanting this handbag for about two years now but it is never reduced and as it’s leather it’s expensive for something that I can only really wear in October .However during a particularly trying period I cracked and treated myself.l think that you can tell from my expression that I do not have buyers remorse!

#3 My sheep handbag.Wales is renowned for its sheep population and they are an unofficial welsh mascot as well as the butt of many jokes some of which are even printable!This bag was made by a local leather worker that was selling at a stand at the Cardiff Horticultural show.l was beset with people asking me where I had bought it with in two minutes of leaving their stand.Its not all leather and therefore relatively delicate so it only comes out for special occasions but I love it as it makes me smile.

I love these and so glad you treated yourself - and YES to novelty bags for me. I find them easy to wear because they are just a nice accent. These are my three novelty bags:

Rachylou,thank you.Akangeroo back pack eh,the DH has a coin purse which he bought in Australia that he was told was made out of kangaroo.l personally think it’s rather disgusting but he likes it!l m assuming yours is the shape of a kangaroo rather than an actual kangaroo.

Thanks for putting a smile on my face! If I ever manage to visit Wales, I would totally look for and buy a sheep bag. What would be a better souvenir from there or from New Zealand for that matter? Hard to find Petite clothing other than the U.S. so why not?

Unfortunately, I don’t have any fun novelty bags, I would love such an addition. The only one close is this Borsalino bag in a shape of a cap, bought in a charity shop unused, still with tags. The photo is from another place, but mine is almost identical.

Fabulous bags!!! I love both of them. The pumpkin one is perfect for this time of year. Great plaid on plaid outfit. I do have a novelty handbag that I bought about 15 years ago. I went to the vet once with it and she asked me where I got it. She wanted one. She loved it. The dogs are all made of different coloured leather.
