Angie, yes, you all need that shirt! A bright happy plaid is so perfect for you.
Bijou, your tartans are so wonderfully consistent! I get you on the trickiness of nostalgia-inspired purchases and how thoughtful one needs to be about committing to them and then styling them. My subdued plaid trousers are sort of an update on the plaid skinnies of ten years ago, for me. They suit my evolving preferences (and body, sigh).
Roberta, that sweater in particular is such a pretty color palette! Great collection.
I have a couple of plaid shirts that are not in my Finds. Again, they are quite a few years old! A slightly oversized shirt in shades of burgundy, plum and blue that I got at Target probably 10 years ago, and a blue plaid shirt from Nordstrom nearly that long ago. Both are lightweight and very, very casual. Mostly worn for camping or hanging out at home. I had a great black and white flannel one but life on the cattle ranch killed it. I’ve thought about getting a new flannel one but I really don’t need more “kicking around the house” clothes! Im very picky about flannel shirts because some of them are too thick and stiff, and others feel cheap. I like the plaids to match up too. It can be a tricky pattern to do well.
