The Free People flats arrived today! My first reaction upon trying them on was that I thought they were too snug. However, I’ve been wearing them around the house and they feel like they’re stretching a little bit. Since they are leather, I wonder if they could be stretched across the vamp just a little bit — I don’t think a size up would work because any more room in the length would mean my heels slipping out. I do like them! They would certainly be a wild card. I found three tops in my closet that have this color somewhere in a print, and of course I think these would be fun with denim and white. And of course the floral bag.

Also, I ordered these Pilcro jeans in my regular size and a tall. The tall is long enough that I could wear them unrolled as a full length straight. The tall is also a little longer in the rise and slightly larger all over, which I don’t mind. I actually like both fits and would not rule out keeping both! I don’t know whether you can see the difference in the photos — the first batch (1-4) are the 29 tall and 7-8 are the 29 regular. I happened to order these during an online sale, so the price would not be unreasonable for keeping both.

Also, the blue sweatshirt is a bargain bin find — cheap cheap from Marshall’s. I’m not wild about the ties on the sleeve but I love the color. It jumped out at me especially since we have been talking about this color here! Maybe I could do something else with the sleeves...
