Gorgeous shoes! They look perfect with your bag (and orchids!) and they really elevate a pair of jeans.
I think both jeans sizes are great, the tall being having a slightly more casual vibe than the regular since it looks wider in the legs. It's so hard to find flattering jeans that I would vote for keeping them both.
I also like the color of the sweatshirt on you. Maybe replacing the wide white ties by narrower blue ones would help tone them down?

Fab shoes and fab jeans. (I can’t tell the difference on the size.)
With the top, I like the contrasting lace on the sleeves but I would be tempted to get rid of the bow. I really like it.
BTW, we are the same jeans size! And you are always very complimentary about my figure and hard on yourself. We always see ourselves differently from how we see others. Just saying

Awesome shoes Janet. Quite truthfully I cannot tell any difference in the jeans. Everything looks like "you".

Shoes are TDF and the sweater(ties included:-)) a gorgeous color indeed but the regular jeans looks better to me somehow, even if not so much diff.

I also think the regular is just a bit more flattering, seems to fit a little snugger. But the tall have a bit of a boyfriend feel imo so if you like them, they both sure do look good.

Those shoes are spectacular! I'm going to have to give them a look. Do they feel odd with the arch area exposed? I tried on some d'orsay flats recently and the did feel odd. Thanks Kate for the additional info on those shoes.

Nothing to add on the jeans that has not already been said. Another thing I may check out since you and I seem to go for similar fits although you are many inches taller than me

I would definitely find those sleeve laces annoying, and would do this: undo the bow tie and instead tie a simple knot, then hack of the loose tie ends with just enough left to be able to re-tie if it comes undone. Also if it's a fray-likely tie material, tie a simple knot at the end of the tie after you hack off the extra. Then you get the full impact of the white lacing without the dangly bow part. Or could could look for laces in a color closer to the blue...but that would be a HEWI for sure!

Orchids are awesome of course!

I love the shoes Janet, and I don't think getting a bit of stretch/give in the vamp will be any problem. Wear them around, get them gently stretched by a cobbler... As long as the toe box is okay, that's the tricky part.

Re the jeans, I prefer the regular ones, rolled, because I prefer the smaller roll. I'd like to see the tall unrolled, to see how they look full length. Tthat would be MY reason to keep both - one to wear cropped and one to wear full length.

I've actually hit two Anthropologie store in the last month (none where I live) and neither of them have had Pilcro jeans that haven't been skinny. Frustrating, as I'd love to know if they work for me. So many raves reviews on here!

Also really liking the sweatshirt. I've been looking for something like that for ages... a colour I like, and with a little something to make it "different". Not huge requirements, but a definite HEWI for several years now. And to find it in turquoise! Lucky you. KEEP.

Those shoes are soooooo nice! I also like the sweater with the ties, they are a fun detail. Maybe because the sleeve isn't full length it won't get in the way. And to me the jeans are a nice basic so could definitely be worth having in two fits. I agree that the regulars look slightly more fitted.

Thanks, y'all!

I wore the sweatshirt around the house, while I worked on my laptop, etc., with tags to see whether the ties annoyed me. They really weren't bad after all. The sleeves stay pushed up my arms with the ties on, which really helps. I might try that trick you suggested, Chris! I also wondered if less-contrasting ties might be good (I kept thinking I had a kleenex or something under my elbow), but not a deal-breaker. I'll keep!

To explain the jeans fit: I agree that the regular size jeans *fit* me better, from a typical fit standpoint. Especially in the seat and thighs. But it is nearly impossible for me to ever find jeans that are LOOSE on the thigh, and sometimes I want that, especially in warmer weather. My existing BF jeans from a few years ago have that, but they taper so much that they actually cling on the calf when I first start wearing them. Plus those jeans are now a few years old, and will probably be demoted to ranch wear soon. I've been hoping to find a BF-ish fit without that very tapered leg -- more straight -- and this is the first I've found. So you can see why I'm reluctant to let go of one pair! My other loose BF-ish jeans are ranch wear.

I love the shoes. The exposed arch does not feel odd at all. They are slightly awkward to put on -- I might use a shoe horn to make it easier and have less risk of wrinkling the leather -- but once on, they are secure and hug the foot nicely. I could use a smidge more room across the forefoot (but the forefoot only!), so I'll see if Nordstrom can put their stretcher to use to gently ease that area. They did get more comfortable with wear, so it may be that they stretch a bit on their own. The leather is quite soft.

Cool shoes and great jeans. Sweatshirt doesn't seem quite interesting enough for you - or it needs to be bigger and slouchier maybe? I know , I know, I"m always picking on something, but it doesn't strike me as good enough for you

Jeans look great - if you love them, why not keep both? The shoes are also so pretty and fun! Great with that handbag. The sweatshirt is not as exciting or whatever to my eye - I have a hard time personally loving solid crew neck styles I guess.

Yeah, the sweatshirt may not be *exciting* stylewise, but hey, for a cheap ($15 and actually free because I had notes!) fix of a pretty color that makes me happy, I'm cool with it. Even if it's more loungewear than something to wear out and about, that works for me. I would love to see more of this color out there!

Those shoes are beautiful. Such a fun addition to your collection. Both jeans look great and your top is a great colour. I like having some good basics to wear around the house and do errands in.

Janet, I can see the regular fit better around the hips and thighs, and the less bulky roll on the hem creates a much more streamlined effect on your gorgeous long gams.

I hear you and keeping jeans that fit looser in the leg. Anything that fits my calves is boyfriend in the hips. Plus the versatility of wearing unrolled is good. If budget and your usage allows, keep both.

I wonder if you could reverse the lacing on the sweatshirt sleeves? It might be cute with the bow at the elbow, or tied inside at the elbow for a more streamlined effect.

Love all the pieces on you.

Those shoes are perfect.

I haven't read the other reviews but I think the regular fit look better, they look less bulky. The shoes are to die for , if only I could keep that sort of thing on my feet.... love the color of the sweatshirt makes me realize how much I like color.

OMG, those shoes are great! I want them! The sweatshirt is a pretty color on you and the price was right. Can you shorten the ties so they don't dangle so much? Maybe that will help with the annoyance factor.

Gorgeous shoes. I prefer the regular fit jeans but I know how hard it is to find jeans.

I would replace the sweatshirt ties with grosgrain ribbon in a close color. If you went to Joanne’s or Michael’s I bet you could find the exact color.

I love the shoes on you! The color is so gorgeous, and fun!
The jeans are a difficult call. Last year I got a pair of Pilcro jeans and showed two sizes here on the forum, and the smaller size was a clear favorite. Yet I kept the larger size, because of how they felt rather than how they looked, and I have not regretted it. So photos don't tell the whole story. The question I would have is: are the tall pair (i.e., your "second pair" if you keep both) a compromise on what you really want, and would they keep you from buying the right boyfriend/straight jean with more room in the thigh if it shows up?
The sweatshirt is a fun color, but if you have to work too much to make it something you want to wear, I would pass it up. I mean, putting too much effort into a piece you picked up mainly for the color and price seems counterproductive.
