Thank you so much Jenni, Jussie and Sterling.
Elizabeth P, I told my stylist I was ready to go gray, but that I knew I couldn’t handle the skunk stripe.....I had so much gray/ white it would have been a stark contrast with my dark brown colored tresses. You are a braver woman than I!
Thank you Krish! It was the first time I have worn those sandals with that skirt. I noticed the pattern play right away when I looked in the mirror, it hadn’t picked up on the similar lines when viewing my choices.
Suz, I see what you are saying! Just black is looking harsher to me, so I often opt for navy now, but a black and white pattern can look really good!
Thanks Lisa P, Christina, Bijou and Kathie! I still need an extra layer in the morning. My classroom is usually between 62-64 for an hour or so. I chose the jacket for the color, but found I quit liked the style with the skirt.
Thank you, Angie. I had kept my hair long for a little extra security and confidence while I transitioned to my gray hair. It has been almost a year, so I was finally ready to say good by to a few inches.
Thanks, Thistle and Cardiff Girl! My stylist gets all the credit for my hair color looking so good. I will be happiest when the blond is gone, but that may still be another 6 months or so.....
Efbgen, yay, for finding a stylist who works with you! Having a good stylist is important and one who really listens and tries to do what you want is priceless.
Thank you Jane. The combo was a happy surprise!
MsMaven, the bracelet thing...I pick my outfit first, then pull a few bangles that might work....I tend to go for similar colors and mixed metals. Then I like to mix up textures. It really is just trial and error, but all my happiness pieces bring me joy, so even if I don’t get a perfect mix, I am smiling!
