This has been a really busy week. I can barely keep up with the pace of my life this week. I did not have time to post all of my outfits but I did snap photos. Some of the outfits came easily -- others had me standing in front of my closet scratching my head. My favorite was probably the one I did for Santana - Supernatural. I really liked how the starry sky from the album lead me to choose my tweed skirt -- definitely inspired. I can't really count the one I did for today as inspired by Bruce Springsteen's Born in the USA. Especially since it was part of my mental rolodex of holiday outfits since we had an event tonight, but the colors are close and the white button down is as classic as a pair of denim blue jeans (so it counts ;-)) Wednesday was a challenge because rainbow colors and workwear don't go together. So I thought about the graphic lines, silvery shine of the prism and general lack of color. I picked one accent color to represent the rainbow.

So here are the inspiration outfits in order of appearance:

  1. Monday: The Beatles - Abbey road, 1969
  2. Tuesday: Alanis Morissette - Jagged Little Pill, 1995
  3. Wednesday: Pink Floyd, Dark Side of the Moon, 1973
  4. Thursday: Santana, Supernatural, 1999
  5. Friday: Bruce Springsteen, Born in the USA, 1984
Thank you Bella for coordinating the posts and dreaming up the inspiration for the challenge.
