Anchie's thread reminded me that we haven't had a YLF picture perfect challenge in a long long time! (The last one was four years ago!) Since Angie gave the thumbs, here I am, proud to present the 2024 edition.

For those of you who haven't participated in any YLF PP challenges in the past, here are some threads that you can explore:

What is the purpose of the challenge?
• The first rule of YLF: Have fun with fashion!

• But also: get out of the late winter dressing rut, come up with new combinations, learn to draw inspiration from unorthodox sources, widen our imagination, see how different members interpret the same visual sources differently, etc. and did I say have fun?

How to play / participate

March 28-29
- Below is a selection of world's most-selling books according to Wikipedia. I picked a selection of original covers and the ones I remember reading.
- Please vote for your favorite images (up to 5).
- You can vote even if you don't plan to participate.
- 5 images with the most votes will be our inspiration for creating outfits the following week, one image per day.
- I will tally the votes this weekend and post the schedule for the next week. You can have the weekend to plan your outfits.

Next week (April 1-5)
- Each day you will wear, photograph and post on the forum an outfit inspired by the selected image. You can be inspired by the colors, the shapes, the mood of the picture, the name of the book or even the content of the book - anything about it that strikes your fancy and tickles your imagination, really.
- I will start a new thread each day for you to post your outfits so that all outfits can be seen on a single thread. This works best and we don't inundate the forum with many many new threads every day.
- You can do all 5 days, or just participate for one day. No pressure!

This is really exciting! If you have any questions, feel free to ask.

Let the voting begin!
