I chuckled when I saw Angie's challenge.
You see, I've been feeling rather painterly lately. In fact, I've been so inspired, I've actually painted most of my house: The family room, living room, DS's bedroom, the bathroom, and --- gasp -- my kitchen cabinets! We are preparing our house for sale, so my walls are neutral, and not nearly so colorful as Amiable's, but I'm finally starting to feel a sense of accomplishment.
My fashion sense has definitely taken a dip due to my frenetic activity and the exhaustion that follows. My sense of humor, however, is mostly intact!
1. The bum of my painting pants. I lost my balance on the edge of the tub and planted my left cheek on a newly painted wall. Forced to wear the symbol of my clumsiness, I decided to have a little fun and painted a smiley face and make lemonade! Take that Picasso!
2. Me, in my entire painting ensemble, in a bedroom cluttered with displaced stuff during renovations. It is JFE?
3/4 I do sometimes have to dress in real clothes to, say, buy another gallon of paint or find a screw of a particular size. I've opted for a basic color + denim uniform. My lack of sleep is showing here (and these are two of my best colors). I've also not had a haircut in over 5 months. I've got that 80's hair thing going, but at least it looks more feminine that the messy painting topnot!
I've got to keep pushing until the end of the month, when the house should go on the market. Our local real estate situation is dire --- slow moving and low prices. We are hoping for the best!
Special thanks to Carter, who has given me some great real estate advice!
