Picasso Challenge 5: Le Rêve

This is the last of the challenge looks... I have to say that I'm not wearing this right now, it wouldn't be suitable for my day. But I enjoyed putting it together!

(I think I'm going to wear it tomorrow though, so I'll put it in the WIW category.)

I do love that skirt on you Astrid. It's a great shape. I like how you picked up on the more subtle shade of the background for your inspiration. Nicely done!

You know Astrid, you may have just helped me a lot with determining my coloring. I know that I am either a Soft of Cool Summer, but could never quite tell - the color palettes are similar as are the hair/skin tone descriptors. Plus most of Cool Summers tend to have darker hair. Now that you mention that you are a Soft Summer, things clicked as most of your beautiful clothing would be a tad too warm toned or too muted on me. So I am more likely to be a Cool Summer, despite lighter hair. Thanks so much and I am sorry about veering off topic.

No problem, Tanya! I'm glad I could help you figure that out. I do like some of the Cool Summer colors (my green denim jacket is one for example) and most of the time they don't look that bad on me, but they can be a bit overpowering. When you compare it with the more muted colors of SSu you can see that those colors look more harmonious on me.
