Hello all! I knew right away what I would use for Le Rêve -- I have one silk cardi just the turquoise of the dreamer's apron, and it comes out to play every spring. A white shirt of course to match her dress, and my red pants stand in for the background. The white to red proportion doesn't match the painting, but I thought the shirt wanted tucking in (unusual for me). Then to bring in the other colours, the Cubist (née stained glass) scarf I wore yesterday. My hair is still up in a pony from tying the scarf, but that didn't last long. Just socks for the photo, I wore black shoes at the office and black pile lined snow boots for slogging through the drifts... Only moderate snowfall this time but much blowing around. I'm dreaming of spring as hard as I can!
Bonus pic of Stormy the cat giving her interpretation of The Dream. (She refused to pose yesterday with book or chair, she just wanted to roll around on a dark red carpet, too dark to show up.)
This has been fun. I think my last, Acrobat, will have to wait for Sunday, I won't attempt whiteout for work!
