Picasso Challenge 2: Woman with a Book

Here's my interpretation of the second painting. I added a picture of the earrings I'm wearing, I thought they went well with the flowers in her sleeves.

AND I'm wearing my new specs! I still have to get used to them, I got them this morning. I feel like they change my look completely. (The close up was taken with the phone, so please excuse the bad quality.)

Thanks Sara! The scarf was the perfect solution, I don't think I have anything else with those colors left in my wardrobe.

Thank you, Angie! I'm really happy about them. I'm going to have a smaller clothing budget because I got them, but they're definitely worth it. And I can see much better again too, with the new lenses I'm back to my old tried and true prescription value. And I haven't forgotten your mantra "to lighten up", but it's slow going.

@approprio, it's true that my winter dressing was very sedate when it comes to colors. My winter capsule was very small in any case and mostly made out of things I bought new in fall/winter. And with so little clothes it made sense to go for the neutrals first. I'm trying to lighten up a bit overall, but it's been difficult.
