Aw, thanks ladies, you are really perking up my (next) day, today...pun intended:-)
Appologies for not comming back to you later, but life (un)expectidly happens:-). I know my outfits are not that interesting regarding sillouttes, but Oh so loved the pattern of this skirtand it's also kind of a suede feel/texture to it, which is much different to my others, hence the posting. To be true to myself all outfit started with a taupe sweater, but decided to save that for a sunnier day, and went with the black instead, but yes Laurie, I too have all sorts of outfits in my head, with it as a base(including transition ones).
Inge, longer pendants and Ynecklaces were my go to jewelery some years ago, but they got forgotten since, somehow. It was like a fresh feeling to wear it again.
Debs, my hair is a mess right now, I've got a wrong cut some weeks ago, and still strugling with styling, esp.on the second day. Happy it's not that obvious in the picties:-).
Angie thank you for the compliment on my specs. They have grown on me since having them but always feel like adding black somewhere in my outfit for bookending. And, got to wear bolder eye makeup (esp liner and mascara), and lipstick again, for some more visible features:-).
Shannon-mine were homemade footless tights for this very first time (to see what happens:-))....but will search for some in the shops, thanks for reinforcing my enthusiasm.
Suz- never had a peacoat before(brainstornming about how your DM is calling them, but unfortunatelly did not come up in my mind yet:-(pls. help). I have only longer coats(including trenches) and some shorter jackets. It's a bit challenging to style it with colored and patterned skirts, as quite a bit of hem is showing under it-and for my untrained eyes that was schocking(!) at the beginning. Still, loved the curent details on this one (asimetric zippered front, zippered pockets) and I was eyeing it from beginning of the season but only got it in the new year, when all went 50% off (+had a coupon) so I gave in and had to buy it-which comes up now it was a good decision.
Hah, but nobody commented on the plug peaking out from my bag all day(in the last pictie), I guess it's a common look over the sea:-)))
